The space
As you enter this historic cottage you step into the cosy living room furnished with comfortable sofas and a wood burning stove. Tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, the downstairs living area is open plan. The living area sits next to the dining area which leads to the fully equipped kitchen with modern electric AGA, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and coffee machine.

A discreet wooden door opens the wooden staircase to upstairs. Please note that the stairs are steep and not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Upstairs is a master bedroom with a kingsize wrought iron bed and a second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms enjoy county village views. The bathroom contains a bath and separate shower.

The downstairs living space has two doors that lead out into the charming private garden comprising of a patio at the rear of the cottage and a lawn to the front. The spacious patio has a BBQ and table and chairs for summer dining.

The Longs Arms pub is just a short walk across the fields to the upper village and free range eggs are available at the farm a short walk down the lane. You and your dog are welcome to walk the fields around the village.

Summer or winter we believe that you will find Brook Cottage to be a comfortable retreat from the hustle and bustle of urban life while retaining the amenities of a modern world.
